1A Carmelite Street is a Category C Listed Building which has a shop on the ground floor and a residential property on the floors above. The last use of the shop was as the towns sport shop. The shop was purchased by the Banff Preservation and Heritage Society, who along with the owner, with the contribution of a grant have carried out repair works to the roof, windows, pointing and shopfront.
