A local music project opening up the world of live outdoor gigs – from production and preparation to performance – and celebrating musical talent from across the North East of Scotland.
Loud Mouth is about more than just two nights of live music. It is about creating opportunities, demystifying the technical side of outdoor events and building confidence in young musicians, technicians and creative practitioners across our area.
We want this project to be accessible to as many people as possible, including young people and families, and to showcase that great live music can thrive in a positive, inclusive and alcohol-free environment.

An opportunity to observe the technical elements of outdoor live music, offering insight into staging, sound and lighting, and how outdoor gigs are brought together.
Perfect for young people interested in music, sound engineering, lighting, event management or simply curious about what happens before the audience arrives.

Loud Mouth Live Band Showcase
A two-night unsigned music festival at Banff Castle, showcasing bands and artists from across North East Scotland. Expect soaring guitar riffs, energetic live drums and a vibrant festival atmosphere as established and emerging acts take to the stage.
